The College was founded as the Teachers’ Training College of Amisano in 1930 through the pioneering efforts of Bishop Hummel, Rev. Fr. John van Heeswijk and prominent Catholic indigenes in Elmina and Cape Coast
546 students completed the S.S.C.E. after a three-year holistic training at St. Augustine’s College, Cape Coast. On 6th December, 2000. Nine (9) students who registered for French sat for their paper on 9th December.
The 2000 Year Group will take up the mantle to Organise the 95th Anniversary Speech & Prize Day. The Year Group will also handover it's Legacy Project. Our Legacy Project aims to renovate the existing Science Laboratory.
APSU 2000 Year Group is accepting all Donations towards the funding of the Legacy Project. Well Wishers, Year Group Associations from St Augustine's College & all Year Groups in the Country are cordially invited to Donate.
